When the Bride first stepped into the Light, everything changed.

She was her presence was a Story, elegant, self-assured and somberly emotional.

The Meaning of Tradition and Romance in a Kerala Wedding
A Kerala wedding is a very traditional celebration based on rituals related to the soon preceding ceremony (marriage) as well as a variety of other cultural influences. Each ritual has a specific meaning associated with it.
On the day of the marriage from the actual sacred acts to the family members blessing the couple, the wedding unfolded beautifully; however, what made this wedding truly special were all of the small, romantic moments experienced by the couple and hid among all of the traditions:
- An affectionate squeeze of the hand during the prayer
- A small smile shared between the husband and wife while the elders are talking
- A quick glance between the couple that clearly stated “I am here.”
- Sharing a giggle in the midst of a busy room of guests
Each one of these moments did not require the attention of the crowd; each one created an intimate glow all by themselves.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple had an opportunity to be photographed together for a few portraits using the lovely soft lighting just after sunset.
